Episode #102: The Ultimate 9th Grade College Admissions Checklist

A lot of you have been asking what you should be doing as a freshman, sophomore or junior in high school, so recently I did a series on my YouTube Channel, Conquer College Admissions to share my ultimate checklists for you to refer to. The feedback I received on this video series was so good that I want to share the content with you on the podcast as well.

Today I reveal the college admissions checklist for 9th grade, which can be used to see if you’re on the right path or not in order for you to get accepted into your dream college.

Whether you’re in 9th grade right now or not, I feel this checklist will be very helpful to you as you go through the college admissions journey.

  • How to determine your application theme
  • Why it’s important to take the time to know yourself before you decide your career path
  • What to consider as you uncover your strengths and weaknesses
  • A necessary thing that so many students, and even their parents, aren’t doing
  • The way that your limiting beliefs will undermine your efforts in the college admissions process
  • Why you should start a Passion Project now, and not wait until the time is “perfect”

If you don’t know where you’re going, how do you know what to do on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis?
If you are sitting in your room wondering what you want to do and what your passion is, that’s because you’re sitting in your room and not doing anything.
Mindset is such a strong factor in success in college admissions, because if you don’t believe in yourself, then why would colleges accept you?
We’re all born with our talent and gift that is just given to us with our birth, and because of our limiting beliefs that we start to adapt to, we start to think we can’t do something, or we can’t achieve our dreams.

Getting into Ivy League & Top-tier colleges doesn’t require perfection.

I repeat: You do NOT have to be perfect.

You also don’t have to spend a million hours volunteering, get perfect test scores, or be a star athlete.

What is required is understanding How to STAND OUT.
